Explain Advertisement is involved in the social production of consumers.
  The advertisements are placed within natural and social setting. Consumers are divided by psychography. Psychography consists of generally applicable personal values, attitude and emotions. Advertising now a day’s use almost all devices like information image, personality and lifestyle. The ad campaign depends on what factors are present: the kind of product or service being sold, the intended audience, the character of the actual audience, the product or service type, the context in which it will be used, and the medium by which the message will be transmitted.
                   Advertisement is a process of persuading a mass audience through media to buy commercial products. Present the possibilities of urgent needs. Some people enjoy a simple lifestyle, some enjoy materialistic pleasure. Advertiser playing to represents target audience, they thing about brand, media, creative products, research, management and also advertising methods. Brand is trying to keep much closer and making strong relation with society. They ads inform about the upcoming culture events like opera and drama.
                   Advertisement benefits society and social responsibility. It gives us a wider choice, holds prices down, encourages competition, subsidizes the media, supports freedom of the press and provides information about health and social issues. Now a day we saw a brand to come up with advertisement concerning social issues like ideas etc..  
                   Various social images and ideas are infused ideology, myth, art, sexual attraction, even religion are processed in commercial ads, like LIC policy’s ad, banks ad, mobiles ads,  political ads, like Bharat Nirman. 
  Commodity imaging constructs the precise ideology focus most appropriate for a certain market situation and hence considered to be ideologically creative bringing real change in the culture’s symbols.
                   Today’s advertisement  has a lot to do with romance. It is cultural system only the pleasant side of life is shown, not the unpleasant and painful experience with which a complete social  cultural system must cope.
                   Myths in any culture tell the boys and men of that society what it means to be a man. Challenges, risk, mastery, technology, male domination are shown in products useful for male and they are attracted. Brand building is important.

     Does the Media make or mar the Society?

                   As each coin has two sides as well as media have also two sides. It makes mars the society. Now a day media has become the main source of known things or happiness from a small village to the biggest contain. Media has a great impact on all classes of our society. Media affects the society of developed and underdeveloped countries. We can share information through social networking. Media play an important role in today’s world, as a source of education, entertainment, information. It is a mirror of society. Media’s duty is to inform, entertain and educate the society but now a day’s we see that media is not doing its duty honestly. They are only trying to attract society to increase their trp rating. Media have power.

                       In modern time, mass media is eye of India. Media shape our lives and society. Media shows varieties of programmers.  It attracts all kind of views. All over the world people are influenced by the media. For example lots of children watch movies. It the nutritional value programs are shows as in U.S it would have a great impact. This plan has helped the country.
                   In our country media has played an important role in eradicating disease like Polio with the help of famous personalities, society is made aware. In wet season people need awareness against disease like malaria, cholera, typhoid, flu and media influence people as it reaches the remote places where doctors cannot reach. The media affect in society changing their lifestyle, choice, consumption and public opinion.
                   Society learns a lot about history tradition and culture of a particular place with the effective media. Media entertain the society through movies, live performances, shows etc… Awareness from environmental and criminal issues was demonstrated with advice that makes people use their logic.
Means of media reaches where manual help can’t reach. Society receives knowledge of different subjects through various media. Media play a vital role in gangsters, elder people and educating children of the society.
                   There are many through which society is made. Man is taught, cultured, literate and made aware. But media has also its ill effects the society inversely. Local and national government continue to own or control several dozens of newspaper and some news channels. Also corporate world try to buy media. 


                   When children and youngsters watch violence, they imitate sometimes for cheap TRPS media shows vulgar and controversial programs leading people in a wrong way. Mass media has such influence that it can destroy the peace of community or the country.
                 Advertisement influence ignorant minds of people and they buy the products full of harmful chemicals. They show ads in such a catchy way to the target audience that they fall victim of the product. Ads show a particular gender as an object gives wrong message to the audience. Media can the best friend as well as the worst enemy. It can build your image and also turn your image to soil i.e. it can destroy your image. Mass media influence society. They are trying to manipulate us.
 
                         Children’s programs can effect on their mind. It happened a place that child could not different reality and fiction and thinking his super hero would go and save him burnt them self.

                         Historical and political criticism can be made to fulfill some specific purpose as some riots are remembered now and then to achieve vote from target community many harm country’s growth and image. Peoples watching T.V shows and cinema, robbery and such crime shows may be shaped, suicide may be planned, people can be murdered for example, a man watched news where he find things around him in news boring, he took his gun and kill this family members and where prosecuted said that world around him had no good news, there seemed no point of living so he killed his family members.
                       Media is much in to business of popularity. Thus  one can conclude that like science that has blessings as well as curse for mankind, media also can make or mar the society. It’s up to a person how one takes. Media if used properly makes are lest and known but it also has its drawbacks that harms the image of a person.

 Surrogate advertising can be defined as duplicating the brand image of one product extensively to promote another product of the same company. The major players who use surrogate advertising as their strategically promotion elements like, Kingfisher, Bacarall.
Ban Surrogate advertisements of Tobacco have strong influence on our life and surrogate advertisements of tobacco and liquor products are not actually promoting use of such product but causing a server damage of public’s health.

Advertisements are nowadays   means to attract mass.
Advertisements are of many types.
Today I would discuss about classified ads and display ads.









Advertisement gives us the information about the different products available in the market vehicles and electronic items ads cover most of the ads in television and newspaper.  Display advertising is a type of advertising that typically contains text, logos, drawing, photographs or other images, location maps, and other similar items.
Classified advertising is text advertising where all the ads are presented together in a categorized list like, homes for sale, special appointment supplements, selling property, kitchen appliances,  properties for rent, public notice, education admission notices, cars for sale, a job recruitment, furniture, personals, public announcements. 


Display advertising also appears on the internet as a form of online advertising. Display advertising appears on web pages in many forms, including with banner ads, example, like web page of Google, Wikipedia.
  



Most of the classified advertising is cheaper than the unit of display advertising. But it is true classified advertising’ is much greater than for display advertising. Display advertising is generally used by businesses and corporations towards promotion of their goods, special purpose and services for consumers. Classified advertising are text only and charged by the word or line. Display ads usually use of color and art. Advertising can designed with color and big founts for the mass audiences of newspapers. 


Display advertising are more expensive then classified advertising. Classified advertising are generally seen only by the people who can interested in the specific purpose. While display advertising is try to capture the attenuation of masses or readers. Display advertisements are also used where text is more appropriate ands also a good effective of the readers, examples like education messages, for business purpose, commercial messages, about corporation’s headlines. In classified advertising appears in a section and it is text based, and also available in a limited advertising selection. A single page of classified advertising may be earning as much money as two, four or even nine or ten pages of display advertising. An advertisement tries to catch each and everyday’s eye. Usually people avoided to see the advertise which are not useful to them. But when they are interested in buying or knowing about the product they go through the ads intensively.
